Hafsa Shamsie

Managing Director

"At Roche, we believe there is an urgent need to address the huge inequities in access to healthcare around the world, especially in countries like ours. Pakistan’s economic crisis, in particular soaring inflation are straining an already burdened healthcare system and making it out of reach for millions of people. The burden of expenses, especially for critical illnesses like cancer, looms large. We know that countless patients are denied the adequate medical treatment they deserve due to financial constraints. We also recognise that we have a responsibility to do something about it. And that is why in 2017, we launched our Patient Support Program, UNMOL, with a focus on oncology related and rare diseases."
